CORNELIUS, N.C. (May 21, 2007) –Ken Butler III continues a busy week as he will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut in the No. 00 Aaron’s Lucky Dog Toyota Tundra fielded by Darrell Waltrip Motorsports at Mansfield Motorsports Park this Saturday.  Additionally, Butler won his first ARCA RE/MAX event this past Sunday at Toledo Speedway.

“Coming off on my first ARCA RE/MAX win is a great boost for me,” said Butler. “I’ve already raced in a few ARCA RE/MAX events and tested the Aaron’s Lucky Dog Toyota Tundra several times, which was a great experience.  I know this seat time will help me in the Aaron’s Lucky Dog Toyota this weekend.”

Butler is a part of a future stars program that Michael Waltrip Racing has implemented. He is scheduled to compete in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and ARCA RE/MAX Series events with Darrell Waltrip Motorsports and Eddie Sharp Racing respectively.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to drive for Darrell Waltrip Motorsports and Aaron’s,” said Butler. “They both have been so supportive and instrumental in my racing career. I look forward to giving Aaron’s their first win of the season.”

Darrell Waltrip sees potential in Butler like he did in David Reutimann.

"We watched David Reutimann grow and mature in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and contend for the championship last season. His performance advanced him to the NASCAR Busch Series and the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series,” said Waltrip. “We are giving Ken the support he needs to succeed in NASCAR just like David."

Live coverage of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Ohio 200 at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway on May 26th begins at 1 p.m. EDT on FOX and MRN Radio.
